It is about 15 minutes walk away from the centre of Miraflores. At night, it was not so bad to walk back from a restaurant at Miraflores as long as you take Ave Jose Pardo, which directly leads you to the centre of Miraflores. Room is very good for the price, it was only $50/night for single room, with hot... more

We stayed in Lima for only one day and received recommondations to stay in Miraflores which is really one of the prettier "barrios" of Lima. The Hostal offered a pick-up service from the airport which was simple (rotten car) but the easiest way. That woprked out well, the driver was already awaiting us. The Hostal Torre Blanca is located directly... more

Friendly staff at this hotel just one block from the Pacific ocean. The hotel sits on a traffic circle that is centered with a beautiful little park. It's located at the edge of the Miraflores district and but a 5-10 minute walk down a paved and landscaped esplanade to the "main drag". You can also hoof it or get a... more

We booked our room on their website-- added our credit card number and everything, and thought it was reserved when we got to the 'reservation completed' page. So when we arrived in Lima at nearly midnight, we called to get directions from the airport. I talked to a guy in reception at the hostal who said they couldn't find our... more

I stayed at Hostal Torreblanca for two weeks during July 2008 as a part of a Global Volunteers group. The staff at the hotel are wonderful. Everyone is polite, helpful and will try to take care of anything you may need. They will help you get a cab and negotiate a fair price for where ever you are going. Some... more

I stayed in this hotel two different times. With the room rental, one gets a free pickup at the airport. The first time I stayed, I had a small room but, in the last stay, the room was somewhat large. Both times, the rooms were clean and the staff was courteous. I didn't get to try the breakfast as I... more

Not the best experience at Torreblanca. Double room rate is $60 and more. Don't go for a jacuzzi room and a fireplace room. Me and my wife stayed there in May and June 2008. On our first arrival we stayed in Room No. 201 facing a street with a terrible traffic. All night through the traffic produced loud noise and... more

The hostal Torreblanca was amazing during my stay in Peru. I have been to Lima many times and I always stay at Torreblanca. The front desk staff is welcoming and helpful, and all speak good English. The breakfast is included in the room price and the coffee is amazing! All the rooms have televisions with cable and the sheets and... more

Stayed there for 8 nights early October 2007. The first room I stayed in (3rd floor) for one night was cold, dark, smelled of chemicals as if it had just been exterminated, bed as hard as concrete, no hangars, old worn carpet and furniture. Room faced front of hotel and outside noise until 2am. The second room (2nd floor) looked... more

For two weeks I was part of a group who stayed at the Hostal Torreblanca. I believe my immensely positive feeling about Peru, specifically Lima, is a direct result of staying here. The efficiency of the staff, along with their friendliness and helpfulness made the hotel feel safe and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurant served... more
