The proprietor of this B&B Angelo is one of the most helpful souls that a traveler could hope to meet. He runs a basic but very clean and welcoming B&B. Angelo makes every effort to ensure that you will get the most out of your stay while in Lima or further afield in Peru. He is more than willing to... more

We stayed at B&B Tradiciones at both the beginning and end of our trip to Peru, on our arrival in Lima before ventruing out to Cuzco, Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and Manu, and at the end, prior to returning to the states from Lima. Angelo and his family created a warm, welcoming and safe place for us to stay,... more

I would recommend this place to anyone who is planning to visit Lima. The rates are very reasonable, the rooms are clean and the owners and extremely friendly and helpful. You even get complimentary breakfast in bed - what more can I say?!! The owner, Angelo, is a fountain of information and useful advice and will really do everything to... more

Would highly recommend this place to ANYONE who is interested in getting a local's view on Peru as well as some very invaluable hospitality and service. The owner, Angelo, and his family made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and we definitely felt like a member of the family by the time we left! Unbelievably helpful, generous and kind,... more

as other reviews have highlighted, Angelo and family were perfect hosts. breakfast served in room (not full english breakfast but still decent), rooms cleaned daily, full recommendations for anything (for me it was restaurants, sports bars playing the nba playoffs, movie theater, walking routes) which were all excellent (especially the food recommendations, from appetizer, main, dessert to even drinks). airport... more

Angelo, who runs the place, and his family are incredible. Once you stay here, you are like family. Even after we left to tour the rest of Peru, Angelo left us an open door and phone line if we needed any help. He and his family treated us as if we were related. His place is clean and comfortable, really... more

This hotel is very safe, clean, affordable, and well kept. What is most remarkable is the kindness of the staff and especially the owner, Don Angel. Don Angel treated us like family and spent a lot of time explaing Lima and the things to do and see. He went above and beyond to help us with other travel arrangements and... more

We stayed here as a stop off before heading to Cusco for the Inca Trail. The hostel was very clean but most of all we were impressed by the friendly family run atmosphere. The owner was very helpful, booking onward travel bus tickets, taxi transfers and advising on restaurants etc. The breakfast was excellent and we had the option to... more

I stayed at B&B Hostal Tradiciones for 2 nights before a trip to Cusco, and then one night after my trip to Cusco in late May/early June 2007. I highly recommend this guest house due to it's location, cleanliness, security, and very importantly, it's friendly owners. Angelo's daughter Keri provided me with some fantastic recommendations on places to eat in... more
