Officially ranked as a 3 star by Peru Tourism. The hotel is on a side street, about 2 blocks down from Kennedy Park in Miraflores. 2 blocks in another direction are the Indian markets. The staff is very pleasant, common areas of hotel are nice with atrium lobby and tiny bar. Breakfast buffet fresh and good (great bread), not huge... more

This small hotel in a quiet side street in the Miraflores district has nice rooms encircling an atrium and overlooking the street. The bar is small and friendly, the reception staff is helpful and the restaurant pleasant with good food and service. Use of the internet is free. Other than the nearby shops and restaurants on Avenida Larco and an... more

We were very pleased with our stay at the Faraona Grand. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choice. Location is very good being a couple blocks away from Kennedy park and lots of nearby restaurants. more

I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. I think it is quite good, especially if you're on a budget. It is conveniently located, very close to all Miraflores nice spots. The staff were nice and they helped me with directions . I would recommend it. more

Well located. Very good value. Nice breakfast. Excellent staff. American standard accomodations ... except no ice. The pool is a joke but I will stay there again. For the price, I highly recommend it. Note that paying by credit card may incur an additional currency conversion charge. more

The rooms are UGH-ly. Hideously bright tangerine fabric everywhere. Smells like air conditioner. Lamps are something between tribal and who-knows-what. The bathroom was this aubergine color with intense florescent lighting. The hotel common areas look nice. Don't expect an egyptian theme. Wireless internet was free and fabulous. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The restaurant was pretty good... though... more

This was definitely one of the better hotels during our trip. Although located in a pretty noisy area, the hotel compensates this by comfort and a very professional staff. The rooms were pretty standard, nothing really extraordinary, just fine. The hotel has free Internet on the second floor, in the lounge area. The breakfast was fabulous, and I wish I... more

We stayed a total of five nights at this centrally located hotel in Lima, Peru. The hotel is clean, the rooms are a fairly good size. BUT we were on the street and the noise was outrageous. The worst part was the car alarms which go off all night and day, apparently in Lima no one gets a ticket for... more

Two friends and I stayed here in January 2008. We stayed here as our primary launching point to and from Cusco. The hotel is very nice and the customer service was spectacular. Check-in, wakeup calls, baggage handling and courtesy were all top notch. One caveat is the language barrier. I speak some Spanish and if I didn’t, I definitely would... more

We arrived late at night and was glad to be greeted by the friendly staff. The room is pretty basic, but quite comfortable compared to the other 3 star hotels we stayed in throughout Peru. The TV is mounted from the ceiling, but most channels aren't in english anyways. We kept the channel on CNN, but there's other english channels... more
