Stayed here on a pleasure trip to Peru. Rooms were spacious and adequate. Air conditioner was noisy but worked well. This hotel was considered 4 stars but I would have said about 3 stars per US standards. I think one of the main problems was the constant boom boom music from some of the clubs downstairs near the hotel. They party till 3 am every night and you can hear the same boom boom song every night. I didn't mind the music because I'm a musician...but just please change the song once in a while..!! Also, this was my 3rd trip to Lima and I was meeting up with my finance....well...surprise...they charged me an extra $25/day for my fiance to visit me and she had to produce her ID to come to my room!! And I booked a room with 2 persons! I have been all over the world and was shocked when they asked her for her ID. This also didn't happen my last two times in Lima. I suppose it's because this hotel is right across from Pizza Street......which is a known prostitution area... more
