This has to be the worse hotel we have stayed at. It is not that the hotel was dirty and the food bad (it is and it was) but the location is awful. Downtown Lima is not a good location for the tourist -- fine during the day, but not after dark and there is nothing of interest near the hotel anyway. The San Agustin Riviera was probably a great hotel in the 50's but does not look like it has been updated since. We were with a group and none of us... more

The worst hotel I have ever been: very old - furniture and decoration from the 60's/70's; rooms where you can drive mad with the noise, all night long! stayed overnight as it claimed to be a 4* hotel not too far from the airport....more like a 1*. It was disgusting....filthy and poverty stricken. Situated in a no go area of Lima, police sirens going all night. Absolutely terrible - couldn't wait to leave. more
