Ratings are relative to what is available, and there isn't a lot available in Agua Calientes. This place is nicely situated across the street from the Urubamba River, offering nice views. El Sanctuario is a pleasant place to stay, feels somewhat homey with no specific decor or atmosphere. But it is clean, on the main street in Aguas Calientes, does provide breakfast (but not early enough for those of us who wanted to catch the first bus up to Machu Picchu) and they allow you to store your luggage with them... more
