We visited Peru in August-September 2009. For Machu Pichu we decided to stay at Hatuchay Towers and made advanced reservations in early May. We have an email confirming that the room fare was $350. We arrived at Aguas Calientes in the afternoon of August 2009. There was someone waiting at the station and helped us with our luggage. The hotel... more

We agree with other reviews that this is a great find. Friendly staff and a nice buffet dinner is included. We were looking for a yellow building as per the photos on this site but found out that it has been recently repainted. Photo is of how the hotel looks now. more

The town at the base of Macchu Picchu is pretty small and this is one of the best hotels there. It is perfectly situated to get to the train station and the bus to get up the mountain. The hotel offers free buffet breakfast and dinners which is perfect before and after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are... more

I liked this hotel, bright and fresh looking. It has a central multi storey inner court with each room off the court. Good sized twin bedroom and en suite with bath & shower, hot water supplied from the towns own springs. Porter collected bags at train station letting us go straight onto bus and up to Machu Picchu when we... more

This hotel is one a few hotels in the small tourist town of Aguas Calientas (also known as the town of Machu Picchu). The location was really nice in the morning as it is only a few steps away from the bus stop that takes you to Machu Picchu. It is also nicely located down the hill a bit from... more

We loved it here, and i think that seeing some of the other choices in town this was the best! Chocolates left by maid and at turn-down service. Excellent amenities in bath, corner tub was a wonderful soak after a day of hiking. So convenient, just steps from the bus pick up for Macchu Pichu, beware - if you really... more

This hotel located in Aguas Calientes are very nice. A good restaurant which are certified for its cleanness and food handling. The rooms are well equipped with a few bottles of free water if you like. The restaurant is somewhat expensive, but this is after all Aguas Calientes which isn't well known for low prices. Staff speaks excellent English and... more

We stayed here 1 night btw our 2 days at Macchu Pichu. The room was nice and spacious, clean and the bathroom was also nice and clean. I got food poisoning that night so I didn't eat the breakfast buffet the following morning but my wife said it was pretty good. They also include a dinner buffet with the proce... more

Firstly this hotel is an excellent place to stay for your Machu Picchu visit as the title says suggests its about a 5 minute walk to the bus and the train. The service was very good, the hotel even organises the collection and delivery of your bags from the railway station. Reception were great, very helpful with any enquiry and... more
