The Heurto Paraiso is located a bit far from the rest of the 'center'. So not easy to find, not easy to visit something during the day / night without ordering a taxi. The place is great qua nature. You live in the green. Very quiet place to relax, enjoy a good book in the sun or in the common... More

We stayed one night in this humble and very relaxing little place. Not easy to find, it took our local taxi driver a while to ferret it out, after getting directions on the phone. Once there, we were the only ones there. Our shy and almost invisible hosts, a young couple who spoke little or no English, prepared an afternoon... More

A lovely paradise with ultra friendly staff who is more like family. I especially love the home cooking which is made with much love and care. The portions are very generous and our group always end up having too much! My stay here is very memorable. And I plan to return in my next visit.

Everything is perfect there. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They're very thoughtful in preparing the food and providing services. I love the garden and the common area. We hang out there all the time and experienced a Peruvian family style stay. You'll never felt the warmth and closeness in a big hotel. They made you feel like... More

The food is great, the service is incredibly friendly and personal, and, above all, the location is amazing. It's easy walking distance into the town, but it feels like it's out in the country, right at the base of beautiful mountains and surrounded by small farms. Super relaxing, super pretty.

We ended up in Ollantaytambo, like many en route to Machu Picchu from Cuzco, Waiting for the train to Aguas Calientes we wandered by accident into the BioMuseo, run by the wonderful Maribel. She showed us around amazing examples of maiz, potatoes and indigenous medicinal herbs, traditional agricultural tools and cooking implements in a beautiful restored traditional house under the... I stayed at this retreat center for three days and had an amazing, relaxed time. William, the owner, was a terrific host. No request was ignored and the food was healthy, fresh and delicious.

This is a nice little Paradise tucked away in the sacred Valley, away from civilization, noise and pollution. The Milky way sprinkles in the night sky just like when we were kids. The air is clean, service is wonderful and the energy is good, pure and contagious. Guillermo is a wonderful host who treats his guests like family. Delicious and... More

I cam to El Huerto Paraiso to recover from flu and chose the perfect location. William the owner is delightful - friendly, helpful and always willing to assist and advise in any way. It is a beautiful location surrounded by mountains. It's in a peaceful rural permaculture community. I wasn't really capable of doing much, and this place was perfect... More

A very welcoming and helpful host, William. Comfortable lodgings. Tasty and plentiful local foods. Beautiful scenary. Great walking paths around friendly, interesting, rural neighborhoods of Urubamba, far from the maddening crowds. Relaxing and recommended!
