We spent 5 nights here doing day tours in the Sacred Valley. The set-up with individual bungalows in a beautiful, tranquil garden full of humming birds suited us perfectly. The service was excellent, with staff responding to requests promptly and competently. The rooms are spacious and clean with high quality modern bathrooms. The food was good and although fairly expensive... more

The good: This is a REALLY nice place, especially when you compare it to other hotels we stayed in during our Peru trip. The staff was helpful, the spa was nice, we really enjoyed the horseback ride and the food was amazing. The gardens were the best part - so many flowers and hummingbirds! The bad: It's pricey for what... more

The setting is lovely, the grounds impeccable. Our room was spacious, clean, simple...no cd players, no magazines in the room, not even a piece of paper or pencil... this is a quiet resort. They have an excellent spa...great massages and the ranch is beautiful. Make sure to book a lunch or dinner at the ranch and then they put on... more

The individual bungalows were lovely, clean and spacious. The gardens were well kept and full of colour, very picturesque. However we found that the service and the food seriously let the place down. In the Restaurant we returned some food as it wasn't cooked properly, we waited a long time for drinks to arrive, some never did. The staff all... more

sol y luna is lovely on the outside...unfortunately they served my boyfriend rotten meat which set off an unfortunate chain of events that ended in vomit and tears. it's hard not to hold a grudge against an expensive resort that took a sizeable chunk of change but still failed to provide safe food (food that went for five times the... more

The Sol y Luna rests in a private setting in the Sacred Valley. The hotel consists of bungalows amist very lush landscaping. We enjoyed our two night stay in a two story bungalow. The beds were a bit on the firm side and we didn't care for the heavy wool blankets (we prefer lighter down comforters). We ate dinner there... more

Beautiful but overpriced! Food is good, bartender upstairs in restaurant is friendly if you are, but you just don't need to spend so much money! It is twice what any other hotel is charging, and doesn't provide that much more! Go to dinner there and stay at the Urubamba Lodge or La Casona de Yucay instead - they are both... more

This beautiful hotel was only a one nigth stop in our way to Macchu Picchu. The surroundings are full of flowers and trees and gives a strange and quiet peace just before going to Aguas Calientes. An expensive restaurant, but the quality and magic of the food makes you forget about how much you paid. more

Sol & Luna was a bit surreal. The scenery was gorgeous and I would have loved to experienced the spa but alas! We were with Adventures By Disney (who plans their trips around availability at this hotel) and this left little free time to visit. The scenery and ambiance is nice and for the most part the personnel are friendly... more

Messages; a woman who would not use the skype them claim to to be able to talk to you with with awful written English and a generally surly and unhelpful management staff. I would never recommed this hotle to anyone trying to book it themselves - simply an atrocoius way to run a "business" - get them some training. more
