Sol y Luna was our favorite hotel in Peru! The individual bungalows are spacious and romantic. The bathrooms are clean, modern, and have EXCELLENT hot water (something that doesn't always happen in Peru). The rooms had cuisine books, birdwatching books, and sightseeing books in them. So, any idea or thought that came into your mind during your daily sightseeing could... more

Great hotel. Service is super. Owner brought the bike of her children and mini quad for our children in the garden to play. Garden / flowers are beautiful, views are great. Cottage was very nice, we had 2 floors, where the children slept over. Evening pizza baking was also very nice! more

I had seen pictures before we arrived but was still impressed with the fabulous gardens! Unfortunately, we had only one night there so didn't get to relax and enjoy as much as I would have liked but I highly recommend a respite at the Sol y Luna while touring in Peru. more

Hotel Sol y Luna was more than I expected when stepping off the bus. Not really a group traveler but had just spent eight days in the Galapagos and looking for a calming place to rest my weary body. The hotel provided just the uplift I needed, wonderful accommodations, terrific service, divine food and a view that captured my heart. more

We spent 2 nights at this lovely inn en route to Machu Picchu. The restaurant is excellent, with an emphasis on local foods; the rooms and baths are immaculate and charmingly decorated. The gardens are lovely. While staying at Sol y Luna, we visited the ruins at Ollantaytamb and the Pisac Sunday market, and we enjoyed a "paso" horse demonstration... more

We had the opportunity to spend three wonderful nights at this lovely hotel, and our stay was among the high points of our entire trip to Peru. The quiet, beautifully-appointed bungalows are surrounded by lush gardens. We enjoyed reading on our private veranda, watching tanagers and hummingbirds feed nearby. The restaurant was superb, with creative cuisine unmatched anywhere. It was... more

What a great hotel and location. My wife and I stayed here during a 3-day tour of Sacred Valley. All rooms are in separate bungalows, surrounded by lush vegetation. The restaurant served top notch food and wine list was decent. The spa seemed first rate, but we never got there. more

Sol y Luna is a nearly magical place. The setting is a total delight, with flowers everywhere. The wonderful bungalows are both lovely and peaceful. One aspect of the inn about which I have not read much previously, but which deserves great praise, is the excellent restaurant. The chef uses many local ingredients to craft an imaginative and entirely delicious... more

We spent two nights in Sol y Luna and loved it. The privacy of the individual bungalow, the breakfast and dinner meals, gardens, service, and free internet were all great. The fireplace in the dining room was particularly nice as it got cool in the evening. Very safe and secure feeling as well. more

I spent only one night at the Sol y Luna after completing the Inca Trail. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The gardens were magnificent, the dining fantastic and the bungalows were truly amazing. One night was not long enough and I promised I would return again with my husband for a relaxing and... more
