We enjoyed an 11 night stay in January, 2013. We reserved a premium room with king bed. It's definitely worth the extra money for this room. Montevideo is a great city to visit. It can be dirty, dog poop and litter are everywhere, and petty thefts are commonplace. Main advantages of this hotel over the Intercity were the service and the overall feel - After is more comfortable, Intercity very spartan. Staff here also much more professional and helpful. Well located near the beach, but not In front. Walking distance to Shopping Center. Rooms are new but small. Tight corridors. Breakfast is ok. Internet is just ok. Not great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Small beds, not queens, but i dont know if other rooms are the same.
