Lovely hotel, so much value for money. the rooms were basic and old but spotlessly clean. the staff did not speak much english but went out of their way to accomodate our needs and help us enjoy Montevideo. Excellent location in town, but our room on the 6th floor was still quiet. more

Stayed for one night in superior room. Weather not great so balcony didn't get much use. Room was ok but bathroom had no shower curtain. The heating wasn't up to much but the bed had plenty of blankets. Good location in the centre of town and a nice lift. more

Charming little hotel in the heart of Montevideo. Rooms decorated with lovely antique furniture but modern bathrooms. Location couldn't have been more perfect. There are no amenities but the friendliness of the staff makes up for the lack of frills. I strongly recommend it for the low-budget, no-frills traveller. more
