The Paradise Inn is pretty much one of the few places you can stay in town and be in walking distance of all the shops of Avarua. Because of that, one can't completely discount it. And honestly, the room (loft style room) was almost perfectly adequate. The room is spacious and cool and fairly clean. Surprisingly, we didn't see a... more

We went to Raratonga for a wedding in April 2005 and loved staying at Paradise Inn. Friendly owners, great place to relax and do nothing. Loved it. more

Throughout the years we have stayed here many times, the last time during the ownership of an American couple, who were committed to all sorts of improvements while maintaining the lovely atmosphere. We really like it there, the rooms are simple but comfortable and it is close to Avarua market and shop, which is convenient. more

We stayed at Paradise Inn in 2005 for our nephew's wedding . it was just ideal, near to the little town and comfortable accommodation. Although the owners were away the previous owner was looking after it, she was gteat and very helpful, telling us what to see on the island and how to get there. Great place to stay at... more

We had 30 people from my wedding party stay here in August (including ourselves for the first four nights before the wedding). They catered very well to a large group!! We were impressed with the rooms - They were spacious, clean and tidy with a mezzanine floor upstairs with double bed and single bed/day bed downstairs with table and chairs.... more

We stayed at paradise inn in nov 07. It was booked as part of a package deal with a travel agent. We where met in the middle of the night by a cleaner lady who just muttered, we could hardly understand her - that was weird. They have next to no information on things to do in Raro. Our room... more

We have just returned from our trip to the Cook Islands. The first days after our arrival we stayed in the Paradise Inn hotel which is located just near the centre of Avarua. We booked this place because we didn't want to miss the Te Maeva Nui, the great annual dance and music festival. From the Paradise Inn, which in... more

This is undoubtedly a nice place to stay. The mezzazine rooms look excellent and the beachfront open bar and deck are truly delightful. The excellent honesty bar is a terrific idea. We booked one of the mezzazine rooms only to find that we were moved to a far inferior budget room to make way for a group. We wouldn't have... more

One of the first things you'll notice when trying to book at the Paradise Inn, is that it's often full, which tells you something. The place is good value and the location very convenient for almost everything (walk to town in less than 10 minutes). The rooms are basically self-catering units with fridge, small cooker and sink. Basic cooking pans... more

We arrived at Rarotonga airport expecting to be met by the owner of the beach cottage we had booked. By 1am there was still no-one to meet us, so asking around a local guy, Malc by name, said he'd take us to the Paradise Inn. Not only did he take us there for no charge, he secured a good rate... more
