The Aquarius has a very handy location, and is located just across the road from the airport, less than a 2 minute walk. We booked a day room here because we had about 8 hours to kill prior to flying back to NZ, after landing back in Rarotonga from Aitutaki. We arrived in Raro at 3am and could not book into our accommodation until lunch time without paying an early entry fee which did not make sense - so we booked at the Aquarius to crash for a few hours. We stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon to get a couple hours sleep before boarding our 3am flight home. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to the airport so it's very convenient. If you can sleep through a bit of bar noise and you want to save money for your last or first night on Rarotonga, you could do worse than the Aquarius Rarotonga.
