Mixed feelings, I probably would not recommend Sofitel to other young families and would strongly suggest you check out the Sheriton and Westin and definately the Raddison first. We booked a 10 day holiday hoping we would get that 5 star Sofitel experience.......the outer grounds and pool/slide are nice, Room was horrid bathroom was filthy and had some awful smell coming up from the drain. we had a great time at the sofitel fiji the hotel was great, location was excellent - right on the beach. Room was spacious and clean overlooking the beach. beachside restaurant had really friendly staff and the food was superb. definitely go back again more
