Stayed here on 2 separate occasions from same trip to Bora Bora, after arriving in Tahiti from the U.S. and before leaving Tahiti for U.S. in between stayed in Bora Bora. This place is BEAUTIFUL! It's located close to the airport, so it's very convenient for traveling. The staff is very friendly, hospitable, and proficient. They have small trucks that... more

My arriving flight into Faaa airport at 1 AM necessitated an overnight stay in Tahiti. The Intercontinental is near the airport and offers a good view of Moorea. The room: Small. Comfortable bed. The TV was small and I didn't even turn it on. Bathroom ammenities included soap, shampoo, body wash and lotion. Breakfast is expensive. Other reviewers are accurate... more

My husband and I stayed at the IC Tahiti for the first week of our honeymoon. At first the choice was just to have a place to stay while we bopped around the island, but it turned out to be the best part of our stay on Tahiti. The key is that if it's your honeymoon, shout it from the... more

Room was comfortable and grounds pretty. However, service was absolutely awful and very slow. Public areas are shabby and need updating. Not a good price value. more

I stayed here for 2 nights prior to embarking on a 7-day cruise of the islands. I paid extra for a "panoramic" view. The GOOD: -The hotel's grounds are beautiful -The 2 pools are amazing--both are infinity, and sand-bottomed pool is different! -Lounges and towels were readily available -Views of sunset over Moorea are breathtaking -I really liked my room--it... more

I will never stay at an intercontinental hotel again. From the moment we arrived the service was poor. We stood at the front desk to check in for a good 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence, no one offered to help with our bags, we had to walk with our bags pretty far to get to our room, the... more

We spent the first 2 nights of our honeymoon here and were not impressed. The first night it was fine as it was late when we arrived and close to the airport. The pool with the swim up bar is a very nice beach simulation and was quite enjoyable but it ended there. The room was clean but very small... more

I stayed at this hotel when I visted it with a group of Travel agents. It i the nicest in the area. Breakfast is a little expensive so beware as the menue is tricky and can cost you 50.00 for breakfast easily. We did a four wheel drive tour that was so much fun and it gave us a good... more

We stayed here for one night on our way to Moorea and Bora Bora, and it was fine. The room was clean, and we had a nice meal, which just happened to be the night of the Polynesian show. However, on our return trip, we probably stayed a day too long, as there wasn't a lot to do on the... more
