Excellent, modern city hotel. Just 10-15 mins stroll from the restaurants, cafes and bars of "The Block".
Piramida, Skanderberg Square and all the varied architecture of Tirana are also within walking distance.
All rooms are modern and clean and staff are friendly, very helpful and also multi-lingual. Breakfast is not the best but you definitely won't go hungry in Tirana! There is a small bar cafe next to reception serving some excellent local beers.
Taxis are very reasonably priced but be prepared to sit in traffic for a while. Bear this in mind when you are returning to the airport - some of the short cuts can be very interesting.
Tirana is a fascinating city but is becoming more and more westernised by the minute. The locals are welcoming and some of the friendliest that I have come across in Europe - ask someone for directions and, if their english is not too good, they will walk you there!
Excellent hotel and city - highly...
