After reading good reviews on this hotel, I decided to book it for a business trip to Sarajevo. It is very basic - my room had ugly florescent lights, very small windows and no view, a stand-alone air conditioner, few TV stations (mostly German), intermittant internet access and it was obvious that it had been used as a smoking room.... more

my husband and i stayed at this hotel... the only minor complaint that we have is that the bed was a bit sqeaky and since it was the time of the sarajevo film festival we had to find parking on our own which we did about 10 min walking distance from the hotel... everything else was excellent... i agree with... more

Located in the very centre of the old town and just a few minutes walk from the central mosque, this hotel is perfect for budget travelers. Finally, a decent hotel in Sarajevo. After indifferent experiences at the Holiday Inn and Hotel Bosnia (to be fair - it was cheap and staff friendly), spent 3 nights at Hotel Astra.
