I have just returned from Bulgaria and stayed in the Spa Hotel Borova Gora regretably for only one night.
The hotel is beautiful, easily as good as anything I've stayed in in the UK, the facilities are wonderful, pool, tennis court, gym etc and a whole range of spa treatments are available.
The room was large and clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent, the staff were all really friendly and on the whole spoke English. Sofia airport is around an hours drive from the hotel so it is convenient for a long weekend. And at £40 per room it was really good value for money.
I definitely hope to return!
