The room was good (large, clean, air-con a bit noisy, but at least it worked), the staff extremely helpful, especially the barman, and breakfast fabulous. (After that, there's no need for lunch.) The service here was top-notch. Whether it was restaurant recommendations or reservations, taxis, or lost and found, the staff was happy to help us out with anything. Most of them spoke English pretty well, which was a huge help. The hotel itself wasn't anything fancy, but it was clean and comfortable - better than I expected to find in Bulgaria.... more
