My boyfriend and I just finished a two night stay at The President and we could not have been more pleased. It was the first stop on out two week Croatia trip and while it was meant to be just a stop over point for us, the hotel and the city really are a highlight of our trip.

The Pros:
Stylish Modern Rooms, each unique with beautiful views into the wooded valley at back of hotel.
Delicious ample breakfast with fresh meats, cheeses, bread, fruit etc etc. The situation of the dining room is incredible with the wall of glass opening on to the trees of the wooded valley.
The staff could not have been more helpful or kind. We were told that Croatia is a little behind in their acceptance of gay and lesbian travelers, but we most definitely did not get that sense. The Reception was full of recommendations and was just plain helpful.
