We were a group of 7 persons (6 adults and a boy of 12 years) 2 nights lodging. Everything was OK with the following exceptions: - Air conditioning could be controlled only at 24-25 degrees C. - Some unfunctional electric wall-socket - Sheets clean but a bit "older" - Hold time on credit-card too long, because of the receptionist unawares.... more

Friendly staff, efficient and helpful. Clean room, large comfortable beds. Great food. Cannot fault it for a business stay - would agree a little more character would be ideal for a holiday visit but I don't think this is their target audience really. more

A very nice hotel, great for business; however as another reviewer said, a little too clinical. I was staying here to do some work with the SCRE and therefore it was only a short 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Considering the standard hotel rates/quality in Croatia, we found the hotel quite good. It is within walking distance from the city center (though some migtht find that too far), meals at the restaurant were quite good with standard prices, the staff was very helpfull and efficient, the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. This hotel worked well for us as it is only a 10 min walk to the train station. Next to the station is an excellent underground shopping centre with supermarket, money exchange and a dozens of smaller shops. It was one of the few hotels we encountered on our holiday that had tea and coffee making facilities in the room.... more

Got a good rate for this hotel online which probably made ti a more positive experience. The hotel was refurbished recently so the bathroom etc is top notch - nice view out of the window too. Free wi fi was much appreciated. More of a business hotel than a tourist one - if you want to get into the city... more

Stayed one night on a business trip. For the price a very modern, large room and bathroom. Lobby and bar area is also ok. I avoided the breakfast as it is in a windowless room in the back of the lobby. Front desk staff were friendly and competent. Overall an OK hotel. more

Hotel International is a big place catering to the business crowd. Very affordable rooms & restaurant. A little away from the city centre though. more

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel International from 11-14 June 2007. It was our first visit to Croatia. Catch the Croatian Airlines bus from the airport and get off at the third (official) stop. Turn right and walk 200m to the Hotel International. The hotel itself is new, so the rooms were outstanding with modern decor and furnishings.... more
