I'm not sure what to make of this hotel. It is essentially a soviet style unrenovated hotel fairly central in Chisinau. The staff were helpful although one was also very soviet style!

Reception were very helpful and the breakfast was fine as were the other services - everything from car rental, post office, currency exchange, hairdressers is within the hotel

However you can't get away from the soviet style concrete block of a hotel with the soviet style decor and furnishings in the rooms. We were given a double bed for two of us however it was more like a large single bed.

If you are looking for comfort and european standards and comfort then don't stay here!

If however you don't mind too much about the surroundings and would like to experience how things were in bygone years then you've found your hotel! more
