The hotel is good all around but the best thing about my stay there was that it is in the heart of town - at the start of the central pedestrian zone, and close to the city's best cafes. Airport pick-up was also a very good option! more

I did remember the microscopic rooms of Balkan hotel a few years ago and, when I booked the room, I asked the receptionists to arrange a spacious room, which they did - I stayed at a nicely renovated room with soft colours, with an excellent bed. We stayed at the Hotel Balkan for a few days earlier this month and were very impressed. Other travellers seemingly complain about the size of rooms but we had plenty of space for our main activity in the room i.e. sleeping. The location is central, the lounge bar is pleasant, but rooms are very-very small and uncomfortable. Central heating was on in the bathroom and could not be turned off. Rooms can be noisy from city traffic. The bed had a rather soft mattress which was not comfortable. On the plus side, they offer free internet connection. more

I was on a business trip and enjoyed my stay in Belgrade. The hotel is in a good location for sightseeing and shopping. The staff at the Balkan were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good. The staff at the hotel restaurant were very attentive. Overall a pleasant stay. more

Nice room, modern decoration, very clean (maybe apart form the carpet) , large TV, good sevice. I stayed there during a business trip , and then I moved due to low availability to MOSKVA. I really missed the days i spent on Balkan Hotel. Staff was very kind and helpfull. more

Really enjoyed my stay in Belgrade overall. The location was perfect for sightseeing, shopping and nightlife. Hotel bar was really grand and service excellent throughout the hotel. Didn't spend much time in the room so wasn't a huge problem with the small/tiny room and bathroom. I'd consider staying there again but would request a room away from the main street... more
