We chose the Opera based on reviews here, but nonetheless we were unprepared for how lovely the hotel was. Making the reservation through LHW site scored us a space available upgrade and an inroom amenity (a fruit plate and a bottle of sparkling wine). The elegant hotel Opera is really good option for the stay in Kiev, especially if you get the discounted rate. Located in the quiet area, walking distance to the centre. I think it's a little misleading for this hotel to be (currently) 13th out of all hotels in Kiev, but this is only the third review of it so far. Located rather close to the city centre, which is ca. 45 minutes by taxi from the airport. Price was around 350 (threehundredfifty) Euro a night, yet for Kiev this is fairly normal if you want to be sure of a decent hotel.
