I came to Paname City for some minor surgery and stayed at Mamallenas for about 2 weeks in a private room. Very affordable, clean with plenty of bathrooms and a kitchen with everything you need. The hostel is really good, the staff were great help in organizing a trip to San Blas getting us very good prices. The Island where we stayed was perfect, not crowded at all like others ones we passed by. Really good place to stay in Panama city and to help you organize your trip to other places. more

A dangerous zone to walk and stay. We were robbed along other guests and even the police won´t come in until after everything ended. Nice service and cheap rooms, though. Choose other location. more

Not sure why anyone would choose to stay here.....there is no storage for stuff, the kitchen is small for the amount of people using it...there is not enough space to sit and relax or eat as too many people in hostel.
