We booked 2 nights in the penthouse suite to lush it up a little during a month long trip. The suite was beautiful, the staff were more than accommodating, and our stay was everything and more than we wanted. Bravo, Casa Del Horno.

I spent 2 nights here in May 2013 and although the location is superb and the design is interesting, this hotel could be so much more when one considers what some of the neighbouring hotels have done with the uniqueness of the area and its history! Rooms are spacious and comfortable although cleanliness wasn't great. The floor felt like it... More

Stayed in the penthouse suite with family for four nights here. Perfect place for modern comfort while touring the old city as great location, lots of room, and mini kitchen for convenience. Staff was always helpful and was instrumental in booking us an Easter Monday jungle tour when no one else wanted to do it. We would recommend this to... More

We thought this hotel was gorgeous. As soon as we walked in we saw how beautiful it was and how helpful the staff was. We were then upgraded to the penthouse suite which was absolutely gorgeous, comfortable, and huge with a small balcony that we thoroughly enjoyed. We especially loved the breakfast next door and the rooftop bar half a... More

Casa del Horno was the final stop of our two-week stay in Panama and gave us the luxurious stay we wanted for two nights before heading back to the States. Our suite was room number 6 on the third floor on the rear of the building. From the moment we arrived, we felt pampered and spoiled and secure, which is... More

This hotel is a lovely building that was once a bakery. We had two nights here in room 1. It was a great bedroom plus a separate seating and cooking area if needed. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that has just rooms - no restaurant, bar etc, just a small reception area for checking in.... More

Very comfortable suite on 1st floor with excellent facilities. Owner has done a good job converting old bakery with excellent italian restaurant. Stairs are very steep and no lift/elevators so dont recommend for elderly or infirm. Staff friendly and efficient. Old city is very interesting but under huge amount of reconstruction so that narrow roads often being dug up and... More

This great hotel, tucked in a small street of Old Panama City is a great find. We had a beautiful room on the third floor with a view of the old cathedral. The only problem was that the internet did not properly reach the third floor. We were told they knew about it and were in the process of fixing... More

Perhaps if I hadn't stayed at Las Clementinas I might have liked this hotel more, but I had and Casa del Horno paled in comparison. The room decor is cold and modern without one good reading light anywhere. The rain shower is fun. The "balcony" had none of the great view of Las Clementinas and the chairs were super uncomfortable.... More
