A cramped hotel with attractive decorations. Not what you would expect from a luxury hotel. Small rooms; disorganized check in. Very difficult to get to because of traffic surrounding the hotel at all hours. There has to be a better option in Panama City. Room service food was excellent and the trip was saved by a very attentive bellman. more

•Stayed here for one night only – wish it could have been more! Bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. My company booked me in the hotel and it is quite nice however the rate the company booked me at was $275 a night - I stayed a week, checked out and went to the airport to find my flight had been cancelled and american airlines were having trouble finding hotel rooms so I rang the bristol from the airport... more

1. off the main lobby is the ballroom areas which has weddings etc and can be very loud – the Saturday I was there they had loud duf-duf-duf music from 8.00pm until 6.00am. this also happened on the Tuesday,Thursday. I stay at The Bristol everytime I go to Panama (unless they are booked which is quite often as this little gem is no longer a "secret" among those familiar with PTY). Service is great.
