We spent one night at the Executive Hotel after leaving a cheaper hotel that we were not very happy with. The staff at the front desk were friendly. Our room was very clean, bright, and comfortable, if a little bit noisy with street noise (a common problem in Panama City). Turning on the AC helped. We were on the third... more

I was in Panama City during the peak time of the year where most hotels were booked due to the rain-free weather and Carnaval. Executive Hotel was worth the special rate I got on Expedia, and it was a great package. The breakfast was filling and delicious, there was free internet, the staff was very helpful and the room was... more

I stayed here two nights, June 16th & 17th, 2006. I give this hotel 3-Stars. It is from the late 1970's to early 1980's design, but well maintained. The room was just big enough, with a great balcony. Had a good room safe, which is a big plus when traveling. The buffet breakfast was fine and filling. My room was... more

I had doubts when choosing El Ejecutivo due to a review on this site (the ones that had the bad luck of someone breaking into their room), and i must say that in Center and South America you have to be aware of this most of the time. In my case i had a similar experience, when i was working... more

The rooms were relatively nice and the staff pleasant. However, the rooms were extremely damp (stayed in two different rooms) due to the condensation dripping constantly from the A/C onto the built-in desk. My main complaint is that our belonging were gone through and things stolen. We finally determined that the electronic lock on our door was defective and only... more

I think the Executive is the best mid-priced hotel in the city. Yes, many of the rooms are relatively small (especially the bathrooms), but they are clean, well-maintained, and come with full, functioning amenities: TV, clock radio, desk, internet access and voicemail system, very quiet AC, refrigerator, lockbox, coffee maker, hair dryer, and good lighting. Plus, the price includes breakfast... more

The hotel itself was in a pretty good location- walking distance to restaurants/ shopping. The rooms were pretty basic, but really run-down looking. Definitely found other hotels in the area for the same price, or cheaper, to be a better value. more

I stayed at the Executive hotel for a couple of days in Nov. 2006 and it is not easy to rate this hotel, because there a both very good and very bad aspects: Pros: - Very friendly and helpful staff. - Free, fast and unlimited Wi-Fi at the lobby. - Fast internet access via cable at room (6 US$ per... more

Partly as a result of reviews on Trip Advisor, I booked a few nights at this place. The lobby is a little dark and old, but well kept. It seemed to be in line with the price. But when I arrived at the room, I was shocked to find a dingy, musty hole with old carpets and creaky old beds.... more

Compared to the first hotel we had checked into, this was like living in the Ritz. (I learned from the females in our group to ask to see the room before you pay). Yes,it's a little older and yes it's $65 per night. For the money, that's hard to beat. And yes there are hotes that range upwards of $125... more
