This hotel was very poorly managed. We had no hot water on some days. I got serious ear infection swimming in pool, with little or no chlorine. We were treated rudely and overcharged for services. The food on the breakfast buffet was at times questionable as to whether it was safe. My fiancé was treated like as prostitute by hotel... more

The room was marginally adequate, and the breakfast which was included left a lot to be desired. The eggs were cold, and the sausage was tasteless. Only thing good was the fruite. One morning we had liver that was also cold. Taxi outside hotel will charge you $5. when you can walk across the street and get a taxi for... more

The Roma is pretty much what can be expected of a low priced hotel in Panama City. Small, basic rooms. Few or no windows. Relatively clean. There is a nice pool on the roof deck. Desk staff are to say the least, rude. However, other hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Why the hotel wants to charge guests $31 to... more

The bi-lingual front desk women are rude, the hotel charges $32 for transportation to the airport (try asking a taxi driver outside the doors, they charge $25), and the hotel is asking too much for what you get. The breakfast buffet is decent, better than most, and they do have a pool....I guess that's what your $60+ is going towards.... more

The experience in this hotel was terrible. The bed was so small, the pillows were little and solid and and there was only cold water. I just hate it ! Stay away from this hotel if you don´t want to loose your money and time. more

you don't have any other place to stay and it is the last hotel with availability. Check in if you just need to crash for the night.... and don't expect much else... Tiny and poorly decorated room. It was a mix of a motel and a oversized jail room. Just look at the picture. Sneakers are acting as weight to... more

We were very disappointed. The room was very small, shabby, with barely a double bed. Their asking price was $66, with the pensionado discount it was $44. One computer made up their free internet. We moved down the street to the Cancun. It was a much nicer, cleaner room for $15, yes $15. It's all about value. more

The service was very good. They were waiting for me at the airport with a sign. I thought all the staff there was friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It isn't the best neighborhood but I felt safe walking down to the ocean, which is about 3 blocks away. There are a few street walkers but I didnt see... more
