Casa Grande is a basic, no-frills kind of place, but for $7 a night it can´t be beat. The accomodations were clean, the location was historic and colorful and the building is absolutely charming (more on the outside than inside, but again $7 a night is cheaper than I have paid for similar digs in Costa Rica or Guatemala).

If you are the kind of traveller who spends little or no time in the room anyway and you are on a budget, you´ll be glad to have made this find in Panama City.
