I want to warn anyone who is thinking about going to this hotel to look elsewhere. There is a ring of thieves who are actually working for the hotel. Their security actually is working with thieves/or are in fact the ones stealing from out of the country vacationers. I would ask security to open the fitness room in the mornings... more

OK, the good parts first - its close to Tocumen airport and there's a free shuttle that runs on a regular basis (apparently every 24 hours). We usually stay at the Decapolis, but this year we tried the Riande Aeropuerto because it's closer to family. It doesn't compare well with the Decapolis, but if you're not in Panama to stay in your room, it's a bargain at about $1000/wk less than Decapolis and many of the amenities.
