We had language difficulty. Gina and all the staff were excellent helping us in every way. I'm very grateful. We were not into nightlife. The BB has about the perfect location. Going from/to the airport was quick (non-rush hours of course). Walking to Amador Causeway. Walking distance to Albrook airport (but not walkable because of the highways). Very easy to... more

My wife and I stayed in the Balboa Inn for ten nights during our recent two-week trip to Panama. Both of us prefer the more intimate environment of a bread and breakfast to a hotel, and this one certainly more than met our expectations. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood in the former Canal Zone very near the city... more

My husband and I stayed at the Balboa Inn the beginning of May. We found it on trip advisor and took a chance. We really enjoyed the home surrandings and the quiet area. I am so glad we didn't stay in down town Panama City as noisey and dirty. Alot of thing to do just a taxi ride away. Great... more

Stayed end of May and June for 2 - 3 Days each. Staff was exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. Took care of our every need. Helped with directions and suggestions of places to go and see. Service was great. Room was clean and neat and kept that way. Balboa Inn is the perfect spot for the first time visitor to... more

Yes, that is how I feel about the Balboa Inn - for several reasons. It is a very nice place with a friendly and helpful staff, and it's in a safe and quiet area of the city! I had occasion to travel all over Panama for 3 months earlier this year, and after my first stop at the Balboa Inn... more

Great little bed and breakfast in a great location. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed at this with our 10 month old and 3.5 year old and felt completely at ease and at home. Very good location near the causeway. Staff is very helpful in calling taxis. Breakfast was good, and relaxing. OVerall I would say if you... more

I had to stay in Panama for a whole week due to business purposes. The Balboa Inn was the perfect location (great garden/terrace) just a few minutes outside of noisy Panama City. I loved the friendly staff (Gina, Thorwald, Saskia, Gloria), they really helped me to feel at home and gave me a lot of useful information. Ancon Hill is... more

My wife and I traveled to Panama for our honeymoon. Before flying to Bocas del Toro we stayed at the Balboa Inn a couple of nights and stayed there again before returning to the States. Its location in a quiet residential neighborhood (known as the Balboa 'flats' during the Canal Zone days) on the side of Ancon Hill is not... more

We really enjoyed The Balboa Inn. The Dutch owner was accessible and informative and the staff was also helpful. The servers were friendly and breakfast were great on the lovely patio. The Inn is located in the "Canal Zone" where the canal staff were housed and had offices during construction. The area is close to the Miraflores locks, a beautiful... more

We spent 4 nights (April 15 - 19) at the Inn prior to our cruise. We were greeted at the airport by Julius (he works with the Inn), he had a sign with our name on it and made our trip to the Inn very pleasant, especially after flying all day. Gloria checked us in, and was there every night.... more
