I really enjoyed there in Balboa Inn. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but is still close to the center, Albrook Airport and Allbrook shopping center. One nice thing I would recommend to do there too is to make a morning jogging or a few to nearby hill. From up there you can see beautiful views of both... more

This is a great place to base yourself for a stay in the city. Very clean, very friendly service and a comfortable place to spend time and rest in between excursions to the city. The staff and owner are keen to offer help and advise on the town if you need it. The garden is lovely and you can walk... more

My wife and I stayed here throughout the 2 weeks of our travels around Panama. It was great to have such a lovely place to come back to and regroup before heading out to another part of the country. We stayed on 3 separate occasions and every time we came back it felt like coming home. Gina was a wealth... more

Balboa Inn was a lovely start to our holiday, being picked up promptly from the airport after a long journey via New York from the UK to being greeted by friendly staff in a lovely quiet residential location in the City. Breakfast in a lovely garden setting and advise with what to do within the few days we were in... more

In 2007, my daughter volunteered at a small town 2 1/2 hours away from Panama City and we had been making plans to visit the country since then. Because she experienced the "real" Panama, we did not want to stay at a chain hotel and wanted to live at a bed and breakfast for the 4 days that we were... more

The best thing about this place was the mornings. The breakfast was good, fresh fruit, bread, juice, eggs etc. It was served on a patio in a beautiful garden that attracted wildlife. Hummingbirds, mannikins, tanagers, parakeets, agoutis, geckos and with some searching, frogs. I could have spent hours just enjoying that. The owner and manager are extremely helpful and friendly... more

After 7 relaxing days on Contadora, we were thrilled when we arrived at The Balbao Inn to find it in a quiet & safe residential area of Panama. Thorwald was there to greet us and very accommodating. The room was lovely and had everything you needed. The low bed (which, for some strange reason, was criticized by another reviewer!!) was... more

This is a lovely B&B to stay in for a few nights in Panama City. My husband and I were travelling thoughtout the country on our honeymoon and stayed at The Balboa Inn at the beginning and end of our trip. Rooms clean and very comfortable, hot showers and aircon and fans. Gina at the front desk is very helpful... more

First, let me say that I am a resident of Panama City. I booked the room at the Balboa Inn for my visiting brother who I had not seen in many years. When considering options for his visit, I had to rule out my house as other family members had come to visit and there was no room in my... more

My fiancee and myself stayed at the Balboa Inn as part of our overall trip to Panama from December 13-16, and the 19th. Very nice staff and owner who helped us out with any questions we might have had. Gina (manager) was super helpful for any of our needs, and Julian who drove us around including over to Colon was... more
