We recently spent four nights at this renovated french era building in the heart of historic Casco Viejo. 19' ceilings, with tastefully appointed furnishings, included breakfasts cooked to your requests, AC, internet. Very attentive staff. Despite dire warnings of crime in this area, we felt very safe at all times, although you are in the midst of poverty in this area of gentification. Tourist police are everywhere. Only two units with common dining room and living room make this a perfect place for two couples travelling. If you like the sounds of local kids playing soccer in the streets and seeing families sitting out chatting in the evenings after the heat of the day, I highly rate this site. more
