We stayed at this hotel for one night in September while sightseeing in Annapolis. The location is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the Naval Academy and the City Dock restaurant area. There is a small lot for valet parking adjacent to the hotel; when that is full, the valet parks your car somewhere off site, so there can be... more

We were well pleased with the O'Callaghan, but were disappointed in two things. 1. The mattresses were extremely soft. The nights before we had stayed in a hotel with adjustable firmness beds, and three nights at hotels with premium mattresses. At this hotel, the mattresses guaranteed a backache the following morning. 2. We traveled with our 30+ yo daughter, who... more

Thank you for your review and comments. We appreciate you letting us know your ideas on the bed and matresses, the beds are actually swedish orthopedic beds that we imported especially. We will certainly address any noise issues. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit and hope that will be soon!

The wife and I spent 3 nights here over the Labor Day weekend. Overall the stay was a positive experience, however the hotel was really nothing special. Public spaces were nicely decorated and clean. Rooms were average size; beds were comfy; bathrooms clean; roomservice breakfast was edible, and the view variable depending on the room. The houskeeping was well done.... more

Hotel staff was helpful, knowledgeable. Nice quiet bar/restuarant. Clean rooms. O'Leary's had excellend seafood. Carpaccio had good Italian food - and dogs! (diners brought along their dogs - not a great idea for me). Good location, about a mile to the harbour. more

We got this hotel using hotels.com for $99 a night. The location is fantastic since you can just park your car using the valet parking and walk wherever you need to go. The room was clean and big enough for us. I would never pay full price for it though!!! Room does not have anything more than a desk, a... more

The friedliness of the employees is the biggest advantage of this hotel. The location of the hotel is good. You park the car in a garage just across the street and conquer the lovely city by foot. We got a good rate at Skyauction and were pleased with the equivalent the hotel offered. Free internet, newspaper (Washington Post) and morning... more

My family and I were in town for a wedding, and we were thrilled with our accommodations at the O'Callaghan. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our rooms were ideal; we managed to connect two rooms so that our teenage son and my mother could be adjacent, but still have their privacy. But the best part came when we... more

My husband and I stayed here two nights. The room was nice for the two of us and the "winter price." We parked at a garage across the street. The entrance is about 1/2 a block from the hotel entrance. (paid parking) We were given a room on the front of the building with a balcony, so the view was... more

Thank you for your response and I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I wanted to let you know that rates over $200 at the weekend are very rare in the summer, perhaps there was a special event going on. We are very conscious to keep our prices as low and competitive as we can. We would love...

This is not really what I would call "luxury" and it is not that charming either. The wood furniture is nice, but not $200/night charming. The lobby and restaurant is boring. In the room, there is simply a desk, table and a single chair...not a sitting area. The bed was hard (like painfully hard), covered with the old-school hotel coverlet,... more

Thank you for your review and we are sorry that we did not live up to your expectation. We did import all furniture and fixtures including the heavy Italian bed covers from Europe. We do our best to manage the noise from other guests and appreicate you bringing this to our attention.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel having stayed at the Marriott on the water and the Lowe's Hotel on West Street; The O'Callaghan was a undiscovered gem for me. I am glad I stayed there. The beautiful dark woodwork which is prevalent throughout the downstairs makes it very cozy and welcoming. The food at the restaurant/bar off the... more
