I called and cancelled my reservations on two occasions and cancelled by e-mail. I was still charged a one night fee for failing to cancel a reservation. I called the accounting office and was told they could do nothing about it, that it was my responsibility for proving I had cancelled the reservation. I told them to check their e-mails... more

horrible dump! As a stewardess I travel a lot and see many places, as well as checking out numerous hotels. This place is to be avoided at all costs. We stayed at the LOEWS afterwards and were in awe! Worth every cent! more

We have stayed at the Gov. Calvert House multiple times throughout the years, and have always enjoyed it. Located across from the State Capitol and within easy walking distance to shopping, the Academy, downtown restaurants, historic homes, etc. Valet parking costs $25/night but it's worth it b/c street parking is scarce. Rooms are nice. more

The hotel's location is unbeatable, right in the center of Annapolis next to the State House. The value of the bed and breakfast package is amazing. You get an included breakfast at a great little restaurant. Parking is a little tough, but once you figure that out, you are set for a great time. more

We stopped here on our way to Maine, after a long drive I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Everyone here is just so nice and they do excellent at their jobs. I will definitely recommend this Inn to anyone visiting the Maryland area or just driving by. I found this Inn by searching the local area hotels and... more

This hotel is fine- clean and safe. The only problem is that there is a serious lack of parking. You can get the valet to come from the main hotel to whichever inn you are staying at and pick up your car, but it is kind of a pain. more

This place ROCKS!!! I spent 3 months living and working in Annapolis. My home became the Maryland Inn part of the Historic Inns of Annapolis. I have to say that everyone at the Hotel treated me as if I were family. Everyone knew me by name and greeted me even when I was walking down the street and they were... more

I loved this quaint litte hotel! I loved the historic aspects of the inn and my room was more than I expected. I had never been to Annapolis before and found the location of the hotel to be very convenient for someone traveling alone in a city they have never been to before. My only complaints were my bed was... more

Charming, beautifully decorated, spacious room. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Lots of nice extra touches like extra pillows and linens. Windows that actually opened for fresh air. Nice spread of coffee and muffins in the morning. Only complaint was the vending machines were out of water for 3 days. Bring your own water to be on the safe side. more

I travel down to the Baltimore/Annapolis area frequently for work. The majority of my stays are at the Historic Inns of Annapolis. Always clean, always great service and the location is fantastic. Just steps from the water, great restaurants, shopping, etc. Once in a while I get a room where the shower is on the small side but remember, this... more
