I was first placed in a "smoking room"--covered literally ceiling to floor in smoke stains with ashes left on the floor, not to mention the smell. The helpful staff moved me to a "non-smoking" room, which was less dingy (slightly). had a decent stay, nice to be within walking distance to town center & umass. the firm flat beds were not comfortable at all and need to be replaced. better rates than all the hadley motels on rte 9. ice machine was broken, free lobby coffee was great the first day but nothing but hot water with a faint taste... more

It was not the cleanest, certainly not the most comfortable, but close to downtown and adequate for a one night stay in a college town. Bring your own blow dryer as they can't lend one. In room coffee was pretty good. No fan in bathroom. more

Starting with the positives, the front-desk staff were friendly and helpful.
