I actually stayed at the Consulate across the road which seems to get more business as it is bigger. Although the Consulate is nice and the rooms pleasant, the Wellington has a charm that outweighs the relatively good service in the Consulate. My colleagues were staying at the Wellington and couldnt rate the service high enough. Their every need was catered for by the lovely Ivy. I ate there on several evenings and the home cooked food is outstanding - Tuna roast, two inches thick and the size of a large dinner plate, was my favourite! I will be back to St Helena next year and will be staying with Ivy. more
