Our innkeeper made us feel very welcome. Our room was small but very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the other guests at breakfast and in the evening with wine and cheese. The scones for breakfast were our favorite. It was a nice experience and added to the quaint historical feel of Nantucket. more

Our stay at the inn will always be remembered with great fondness. Everthing about the inn was perfect- the wonderful baked goodies, the breakfast, the decor, cleanliness & caliber of the staff especially Syke. She did everything to make our stay especially special. Skye made scrumptous baked goodies-cookies, a lovely breakfast including delectable breakfast scones, a lovely fruit compote. apple... more

With an old home feel, the Martin House Inn has a unique warmth and coziness that is part of its appeal and character. The innkeeper is very pleasant, accomodating, and has a natural gift to engage the guests in fascinating conversations, but in a respectful, kind and considerate manner. Our room was on the second floor-rear, with a Queen bed,... more

We stayed here for two nights in October. The B&B is very close to the center of town and less than a 10 min walk from the ferries. It's a very cheery and cozy place. The innkeeper is friendly, helpful, and fun. Breakfast was fruit salad, yogurt, cereals, and (the highlight) delicious homemade scones and muffins. There were also afternoon... more

My wife and I purchased a weekend at the Martin House in a silent auction, with no advance knowledge of the Inn. As we learned more about the Martin House, we were very excited to visit. We've been to many B&B's and our experience here was excellent. The Inn is charming, the service friendly but not intrusive, and the accomodations... more

The Martin House Inn has a great location, far enough from Main Street to be quiet at night, close enough for an easy stroll to the numerous restaurants (including one right opposite). We spent our Anniversary weekend here and had the "blue room". We normally stay in large hotels, so this was a real change for us. The atmosphere was... more

This is our third stay at the Martin House Inn. We like it because it is within walking distance to town, and yet it is away from the hub and noise of the town itself. This is an old historic house which has much ambiance and character. All the rooms are uniquely appointed; each has its own personality and style.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in the "Blue Room" We really enjoyed our stay from the time we arrived right until the day we had to depart. Skye, the inn keeper, was so friendly and accommodating. She was so helpful and was always available if we needed advice on just about anything to do with Nantucket, The breakfasts that Skye... more

We have been to Nantucket many times, but first time at Martin House. We had a terrific time. The inn is located close to town so you can walk to shops and restaurants. The discount on airfare and access to sail boats and kayaks a real plus on this very expensive island. The common areas are pleasant and the porch... more
