I have stayed at several of the hotels on the island and this is so nice, quiet, clean and reasonable considering it is Nantucket! Staff does whatever they can to make things even better. Breakfast is great, pool is clean and well maintained. Can't think of a darn think bad about it except they can't control the weather! Keep up... more

We sailed to Nantucket during the annual Figawi over Memorial Day and booked this room so the crew could stay on the boat. I booked through Expedia and the ONLY option was $400 a night. Thought this was a little high thinking rooms were not available during this popular weekend but when I checked in even the staff couldn't understand... more

I always stay at the Beachside when I go to Nantucket because it is the best deal on the island. The rooms are comfortable and large; the pool is great; the breakfast is an incredible deal. The hotel says it's continental, but it has nearly anything you would want --- including bagels, juice, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, yougurt, cereal ... anything a... more

We stayed for two weeks including fourth of July. Things have greatly improved from three years ago. The threadbare carpet is gone. The pool has been retiled and there are new aqua and white striped large towels that you can take back to your room poolside. The air condition is still a workhorse and the hot water and pressure is... more

This is the best spot to stay on the island. Location is less than a mile into town and a mile to the beach. Clean rooms, well air conditioned, beautiful pool, great continental breakfast. Staff and friendly and helpful. If you want an old room in a bed and breakfast with no air conditioning and lots of rules, don't come... more

Stayed here for two nights over the 4th of July weekend, as it was the only place we could find rooms. I know why...rooms are dirty, damp (doesn't appear to have much circulation in teh bathrooms) and pretty depressing. Got bit by bugs both nights (not bed bugs, but something else). it's a fine location- 10 minute walk from town... more

HI, My husband and I stayed there last year and enjoyed the facility and the location, it is a 15 minute walk from town but only a 2 min. bike ride which we did this year. The accommodations are fine for what the motel is, it is not a bed and breakfast so people have to remember that. The continental... more

After reading some of the very poor reviews, I feel the need to set the record straight about the Beachside. My family and I have been staying at the Beachside for the past almost ten years and feel that it is the best bargain on Nantucket. It's not the Ritz but how much time are you really planning on spending... more

I made reservations here before reading the reviews, and I became very worried and tried to cancel and book elsewhere for Daffodil Weekend. I would have lost 50% of the price paid, I figured for a night we will take the risk and hope for the best. It seems that they have updated the motel a bit, the linens, furniture,... more

Reservation had to be cancelled becuase of weather - all flights going to Nantucket were cancelled that day. Hotel manager (Alex) refused to refund our money, and said we could re-book, but they had no availability. Lost $550 with these jerks. more
