The Cliff Lodge was conveniently located within walking distance to the ferry and downtown. Sally the innkeeper was very friendly and accomodating. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and the homemade muffins and scones were delicious. We had the first floor room with a queen bed which was very comfortable but the bathroom was very small - hardly room... more

A great place, great location, and especially great service and warm and friendly atmosphere. Sally was great, always helpful and entertaining.Helped to understand the workings of the island with her stories. Her recommendations were also perfect, lunch at the Brotherhood of Thieves, and dinner at Queequegs (sp?). The location was also perfect, close enough to walk back home easily from... more

My stay at Cliff Lodge was one of the most pleasurable experiences ever. The inn keeper Sally made us feel right at home. I am still thinking of the amazing breakfasts that I ate there. My husband and I had an amazing time and are looking forward to coming back to this beautiful bed and breakfast. more

The Cliff Lodge turned out to be a great place to base our first trip to Nantucket. We had a delightful room and the morning meal was a great way to begin the day. The location made it an easy walk into town. Sally was very helpful with recommendations for things to see and places to eat. She was also... more

We stayed mid October and a had a blast. Sally, the hostess/Innkeeper was so nice and friendly....we could not have asked for better. Breakfast was very nice consisting of home made lemon poppyseed muffins, fruit, apple puff pastry, granola, and blueberry scones....all made with top quality ingredients. The fireplace was going in the "family area" which made for a warm, cozy... more

This was our first time to Nantucket and we loved the Cliff Lodge. It was clean and comfortable and close to shops/restaurants. B&B staff very accomodating during breakfast with Sally, the hostess, joining us each morning for great conversation and tips on the island (nice touch!). Breakfast was plentiful and delicious--better than any other B&B we have stayed at. We... more

We thorouhly enjoyed our twoo nights at Cliff Lodge. Its 18th century charm connected beautifully with the fascinating history of Nantucket and her people. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast hearty. The innkeeper provides a cheery, informal atmosphere. All in all a fine experience! more

Cliff Lodge was even more special than I had hoped for! We were welcomed from our host with a wonderfully warm welcome. She was very friendly and helpful. Our room! What can I say. It was so gorgeous!! We stayed in a petite room, very tiny and gorgeous. If you prefer a larger room pay extra for one of the... more

The 2 of us give this a big thumbs up in terms of location (there is only a distant harbour view but proximity to town center is ideal at a 5 minute walk), cleanliness, comfort and friendly inn keeper. We would have loved it more if it had a more robust breakfast. While the breakfast was yummy with scones and... more

Thank you so much for your lovely review! I wanted to let all prospective guests know that only ONE B & B on Nantucket can serve a hot breakfast. The rest of the 43 B & B's are limited to a continental breakfast only. The Town of Nantucket sends their inspector out yearly to be sure no one is serving...

I surprised my husband with a 5 day trip to Nantucket for his 60th birthday, as he had not been there before. He's still raving about it. From the ferry ride over from Hyannis to our stay at the Cliff Lodge, it was just wonderful! The master suite was comfortable, quiet and lovely. The continental breakfasts were delicious and different... more
