My family (husband and toddler) stayed 4 nights in the oversized king room. The room was large and clean. The grounds are well manicured and attractive. The location is far away from everything. My husband and I had to go to Nantucket for a wedding. Most places on the island require a minimum three night stay during peak season. The Nantucket Inn does not. From the outside this place looks fine and the lobby is okay too. But the room itself was a very unpleasant surprise. We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday. Unfortunately it rained all weekend but the hotel couldn't be better. Very clean, quiet hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. We got a fantastic deal; great price, $50 voucher to one of two restaurants, full breakfast every morning, and transportation to and from town. We couldn't ask for anything more. We stayed at the Nantucket Inn while attending a friend's wedding Labor Day weekend. They were the ONLY place on the island that did not have a three night minimum (we could only stay for two) and the ONLY place that had not doubled or tripled their rates for the holiday weekend. The Nantucket Inn is a moderately priced, well maintained, casual Inn on Nantucket near the airport away from downtown. It is more the size of a hotel than a traditional Inn. We stayed there Labor Day weekend at the price was $200 per night for a standard room. Pricey, but not nearly as expensive as some other lodging on Nantucket.... more

We had a great time at the Nantucket Inn. It's not right in town, or on the water, but the hotel provides great hourly shuttle service to both.
