Three of us shared a room at this Inn in mid-July, for three nights. First trip to Nantucket so cannot compare this Inn to any others on the island. This is affiliated with The Roberts House/Linden House on the same street, and has the most beautiful gardens I've EVER seen with a property. The porches, one open, one enclosed, with comfy white wicker furniture and lace, were absolutely charming!!!
You walk inside ... there's a winding staircase, and the place is lovely and classy. Our room was on the second floor, #M7, and everything was first-class .... white lacy linens, Gilchrist & Soames bath products, turn-down service. The fireplace could be used in winter, big roomy bath, good TV ... beautiful. Comfy chairs and good reading light, wonderful King bed mattress! (My ONLY complaint is that the *twin bed* was not exactly a twin bed! It was like a futon built into a multi-windowed closet, a mattress on a wooden slab, not long enough for anyone over 5' 4". I...
