Too expensive for tiny room and bath...phone broken and air conditioning worked just okay.. We chose this place as a last resort and paid over $300 for one night. No elevators and very narrow stairs..

We stayed at the VNH this past weekend. The location is excellent. Walk right off the ferry and across main street onto Chesnut and you are there. Was prefect for a weekend getaway. Very nice staff (consisting of 2 people). First room assigned was #8. Loft room with sloping ceiling. Would hit my head when getting out of bed. No night table. Telephone on the floor.
