My boyfriend and I spent one night at the Sweet Liberty while visiting friends on Nantucket. Barbara was a wonderful hostess. I had not had a chance to shower before catching the ferry that morning, so Barbara was so kind and let me use her outdoor shower as our room was not quite ready. What a treat! It was so private and the warm water felt great against the cool air.

She's quite the talented artist as well. We were lucky enough to catch her in her studio placing the finishing touches on a platter before firing it. Very unique items and we regret we didn't take a mug home with us.

The location was great. A short walk from town, and Something Natural is right around the corner. Definitely a cozy, friendly, comfortable and unpretentious place to stay. more
