We enjoyed staying in this hotel and it was a good finale to our trip around Central America. Loved Antigua. The hotel had huge rooms, very comfortable and clean. We ate elsewhere in the town. Very centrally placed, I would recommend this hotel as a base for exploring the town.

Great location and this hotel could be lovely BUT shabby rooms with basic bedding. Sheets straight onto mattress with no undersheet; so unhygienic. Sparse towells and lumpy pillows. Very dark with horrid strip lighting as main light. Most rooms faced inwards onto public corridor so difficult to get air as no aircon etc. Woken up at 5am with staff prepping... More

Stayed 3 nights at this courtyard style hotel. Pickup from Guatemala City airport can be requested by emailing hotel (U$40) if arriving late at night. Breakfast is buffet style. For visiting Antigua Guatemala this is and ideal place. Good location - just few steps from the main square, the Cathedral,main monuments and banks, coffee shops,. We drove from Belize to Flores, Peten, and bussed it to Guatemala City, then the historic City of Antigua. Posada El Hermano Pedro was clean and centrally located. I stayed here during Semana Santa in April 2011. The Hotel is a typical patio building with terraces. This creates an ancient atmosphere. Breakfast buffet. (only booked B&B). The rooms are large, the bathroom clean with hot water! The location is to my opinion one of the best to visit Antigua, just a stone throw away from the main square.... More

Posada Del Hermano Pedro is a pretty little hotel with beautiful mini courtyards and a nice ambiance. The room size is very generous, breakfast is buffet style, quite adequate.
