This gorgeous hotel is a real find. The architecture is stunning - thick stone pillars, hidden spiral staircases, brick barrel-vaulted ceilings, arched doorways, abundant cupolas, and a beautiful central garden. I loved this place. It is located just out of the heart of Antigua, so you avoid a lot of the hustle and bustle of the town, but it's close enough to get anywhere fast on foot. Charming small hotel hidden behind the door. This is a lovely property in walking distance to the the Parc Central. The rooms are well decorated with Guatemalan style and little luxuries. We stayed at this hotel for the first time on January 9, 2009. We were in suite #8 which was gorgeous. We were close to the music however did not hear it as we were having a private dinner in the art gallary on the roof.
