We spent New Years here and it was beautiful. My one complaint was at check out. They add 10% tip in your total room charge. That's $25 per day. I had been tipping the staff all along so when the bill came I had an issue with it. They eventually resolved it but suddenly the staff was not so nice.... more

Guatemala is a beautiful country, with wonderful people, so Posada de los Leones was the perfect place to hide from the Christmas madness at home, with the great service and excellent accommodations. The rooms are fabulous; a big plus for me is that the Inn has only six rooms, located in las Gravileas, which is about 10 min. away, walking... more

Posada de los Leones has it all, confort, style and service...In particular we enjoyed the wonderful caring, personalized service that is so very unusual in our busy world. We loved Billy, the drinks, the breakfast, the champagne, the roses and the lovely baths. we hate to leave and we will be back!!!! more

We returned to the Lions Inn for a visit in October and I was so happy to feel like I was back at home. I lived in the Lions Inn for 2 months in 2006 and this was my first trip back since then. I did notice a few changes all more positive than in 2006. New bed linens and... more

I was looking for the perfect place to ask my girlfriend to be my wife, after considering plenty of choices a good friend of mine told me that Lions Inn was offering a romantic package that consisted in a romantic dinner and one night at the wonderful master suite, so I called and arranged everything. Dinner was great, but the... more

Booking the hotel was so easy and friendly (the hotel called me as I did not want to provide my credit card number via email) that I was certain that our stay would be just as easy. After confirming our reservation directly with them (and confirming that we were in the $285US per night master suite) we arrived at the... more

I was only here for one night but wish I could have stayed longer. Antigua is a wonderful town with lots to see and do in the area. The Lions Inn is walking distance to almost anything in the town but located on a quiet street a few blocks from the busy streets of the downtown. The courtyard is beautiful... more

Although we ended up spending alot more money than we had planned for, we were not disappointed with the Lion's Inn. The room was great and the staff were super friendly and accomodating. They even went to change our dollars for us at the bank so we would not have to wait in line!! The breakfast was a bit disappointing... more

Arriving at the Posada de los Leones (The Lion´s Inn), you will marvel at its wonderful setting among the shady trees of a coffee plantation, evoking a time when life was quiet and more gracious. The faint smell of the coffee flower permeates the pure mountain air. You are surrounded by many-colored bougainvillea, tropical ferns and exuberant flowers that flourish... more
