We stayed here at 2 separate times and found that other reviews on this site to be accurate. The first time was downstairs in a very cramped dark corner room. We dropped in without reservation, and was given a tiny twin room on first floor. It was ok, but very musty and cramped. Second day we moved to a triple room on second floor, paying a little bit more. This was like another world. The room was normal size for a triple, but the bathroom was enormous. Largest shower ever.... more

I just stayed for 3 nights in Landivar in a single room and was very disappointed. Although it wasn't in Tripadvisor (which as we all know is always risky!) it was recommended by my Footprint guidebook. I had a single room for US$20 per night (included cable TV). But it had no natural light and was essentially a large box... more
