Right in the heart of the palace walls, it's a truly outstanding location. It's down a small street so you get away from the noise of bars etc.. You couldn't be more in the thick of things in Split than at Base Rooms. The owner and his daughter (?) met our taxi outside the palace walls and helped us drag our ridiculous amount of luggage to our room. Base room is a great place to stay in Split. The location is perfect. Tina was very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was spotless, shower was hot with a heated floor in the bathroom. The room has a free internet and fridge. more

Had a very pleasant stay at Base Rooms! The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. Rooms are clean, have in-room internet access, private bath, and are very spacious for European standards! The price is very affordable for everything you get and the owner, Tina, is a delight! more
