We had a nice stay at Apartments Toni. It's a little ways outside of Old Town, but easy to go to on a bus, and it is very close to fun beaches. Dubravka, who owns the hostel is very accomodating and friendly, but the woman who generally works there doesn't speak much english at all. We actually stayed at Dubravka's other property for the first night because we needed an extra night, and that place is going to be incredible. They are still working on it, it's called Residence Lantoni, and eventually people will be able to rent the whole house out for a week. Really gorgeous. Also, we found a great restaurant pretty close to Apartments Toni called Cafe del Mare Pancake House/Coffee House. Fantastic crepes, smoothies and salad, plus American breakfast (which was much apretiated after 8 weeks of travelling). You'll see it if you walk towards Old Town along the Harbor about 10 minutes. more
